History: With the increase in ladies playing on the weekend, it was decided to introduce a weekend Club Championship. The Angela Harris Shield was introduced in 1976 and was won by Angela Harris.

Rules: Traditionally, played over four rounds, 72-holes. The winner is the player who has the lowest number of strokes over the four rounds.

The Weekend Club Championships are played from the red plates on each tee.
