History: With the increase in ladies playing on the weekend, it was decided to introduce a weekend Foursomes Championship. The Weekend Foursomes Trophy was introduced in 2001. 

Rules: The Weekend Foursomes are to be played on a Saturday over 27-holes. Each group will be made up of three groups of two players. Each tee shot is to be played by the alternate player. Each shot is to be played by the alternate player. The major trophy is the best scratch score over the 27 holes. The Ladies Weekend Foursomes Championships are to be played from the red plates.

The major trophy must be won by full playing members of Palm Beach Golf Club.
