History:

At a meeting in the Clubhouse on Saturday, 23 September 1967, following the proposal of Mrs Kit Lewis to donate a silver salver for the best net score the previous year, the then Ladies President, Thelma Hopewell, 'kindly offered to donate a shield for scratch for the Business Girls Championship'.

Rules:

The Thelma Hopewell Salver is the best scratch score of the first round of the Weekend Club Championships. In the case of a tie, count back applies.
